One week into my journey of building an online business, and I’ve already learned that starting is very different from planning.
This week, I worked on my website, digital products, checkout system, content creation, and social media presence. I also started testing my AI-avatar content strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
What I Tried
– Worked on my WordPress website and product pages.
– Set up and tested my digital product selling system.
– Tested the payment process with a real purchase.
– Created and posted short-form content on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
– Started documenting my journey instead of waiting until everything is perfect.
– Tested a carousel to share my weekly journey.
What I Learned
The biggest lesson was simple:
Building a business is not just about creating a product. It is about building the entire system around it.
A website can look good, but the checkout and delivery also need to work smoothly.
A Reel can be posted, but getting views and building an audience takes consistency and testing.
My content numbers are still very small, but I’m learning not to judge the entire strategy from a few posts.
What Didn’t Go Perfectly
I faced problems with my checkout, payment and product delivery system. My social media reach is also still very low.
But instead of seeing these as failures, I’m treating them as feedback.
What’s Next?
My focus now is to improve the website and buying experience, keep creating useful content, understand what my audience responds to, and continue documenting the real journey.
I’m still at the beginning.
No big audience. No guaranteed results. Just learning, testing, fixing and moving forward—one week at a time.
